Athletics
Southpointe Christian School (SCS) participates in the River City Christian League which offers soccer, flag football, volleyball, and basketball for upper elementary and junior high students. Our athletic program is under the leadership of Gene Holliday.
Student Government
Southpointe Middle School has a student council that directs student activities and service projects. The Southpointe Student Council attends the annual ACSI Leadership Conference. Mrs. Star Brewer is the adviser for the student council
ACSI Student Activities
Southpointe students compete with other Christian school students in a variety of events sponsored by the Association of Christian Schools International. Math Olympics, Science Fair, Spelling Bee, Creative Writing, and Speech are some of the events students will participate in this year.
SCS Musicals
Each year Southpointe students participate in a Christmas musical. This year the school will present "The Mystery of the Manger," a musical created by Celeste Clydesdale and arranged by David Clydesdale.Spiritual Life
Spiritual life is a key component of campus life at Southpointe Christian School. While many schools provide excellent academic and athletic programs for students they do not provide opportunities to develop spiritually causing their overall growth and development to lack.
Bible instruction and spiritual development are not in addition to the program at Southpointe, they are an integral part of everything we do here.They attempt to direct spiritual growth and character development. Daily Bible classes and weekly chapel programs offer unique opportunities to provide such instruction and direction.
